A DAY ON THE FIELD
There are a lot of chances to run, catch, swing and jump at FIELD DAY. Kids will be exposed toboth traditional sporting activities that they might already be somewhat familiar with, as well as a new game or sport that they can get a taste of for
the first time ever.
Here's what an actual FIELD DAY day looks like...
3:25pm - Participants are temperature checked and medically screened in their car
3:30pm - Pre-Camp Huddle (field assignments, objectives and goals, ridiculous story)
3:35pm - FIELD DAY begins with Block 1 of instruction and participation
4:05pm - Water Break
4:10pm - Block 2 of Instruction and play
4:40pm - Water Break
4:45pm - Block 3 of Instruction and Games
5:15pm - A Final Shot at Victory
5:25pm - FIELD DAY Gear and Welness Check
5:30pm - Dismissal and Pick-Up
A NEW, ENDLESS SUMMER TRADITION
POP-UP POOL
For those of us who really don't want the Summer to end, we have an idea...
Let's go to the pool.
Here are the parameters for Pop-Up pool...
If the projected high temperature is 74 degrees or higher, and it's a Saturday or a Sunday (not both), then we might as well open the pool and have a good time!
Registration will open at a predetermined time and date. The details will be sent out to everyone on the pool email list 48 hours in advance of the event.
Much like our Summer Community Pool protocols, registration will be limited
to families, and the first 50 registered guests. There will be one session and one session only.
Pop-Up Pool doesn't look like regular Community Pool. Here's what you must understand.
There are NO TABLES.
There are NO CHAIRS.
There are NO CHAISES.
There are NO UMBRELLAS.
You can bring in Blankets, Towels, or Folding Chairs to set up your campsite.
Social Distancing measures will be in affect and enforced. Think of it more or less like a picnic setting around the pool. Outside alcohol, glass containers, pool toys, noodles, rafts, etc... are prohibited at Pop-Up Pool.
We will open up the SnackShack, have a Lifeguard on duty, possibly open up the bar and rock a perfect soundtrack. It will be two hours of Boulder Elks bliss with a water temperature between 81 and 83 degrees and the sun high in the Autumn sky.
