ALL ABOUT THE
ELKS POOL & PATIO
She's a lot of things. Peaceful, majestic, cantankerous. A timeless gem in an ever-changing Boulder. Since 1967, the Elks Pool has remained virtually unchanged in its approach to providing great vibes, memories that last way beyond the last day of Summer, and endless chances to chase the sun all year round...
COMMUNITY POOL
Diving boards, swim team, hot dogs, lifeguard whistles, Friday Night BBQ's, sunscreen, laughter, first crushes, sunburns, new friends and a toast to the better things in life. You can experience and share all of those things at the Boulder Elks Pool & Patio. It's a step back in time with a few modern touches. Open to the public.
LAP SWIMMING
For your physical and mental health, the Boulder Elks Pool is available for Public Lap Swimming, 3-5 days per week, from September into May. Then we take a break so we can teach, train and compete in the Boulder Valley Summer Swim League with the hundreds of kids in that program. Lap swims can be purchased individually, in packages of 12 (and good for a full year from date of purchase), and starting in October, monthly, unlimited swim packages will be available for purchase. Open to the public.
EVENTS & PARTIES
Birthdays, Anniversaries, Wedding Receptions, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Corporate and Team Events... they're all at home and welcome at the Boulder Elks Pool & Patio. We can accommodate groups from 10 to 400 at most times of the year. From our covered patio and bar to an outdoor grill station and new Party Cabana, there's a space to play, unwind or celebrate at the coolest spot in town. Open to the public.

The pool is open to the public. Anyone can attend. There are Summer, Family and Individual Memberships available for purchase beginning in April each year. You can also pay at the gate as you go.

The pool is open year-round. In the Summer (Community Pool) we keep the water temp around 80. In the Fall and Winter months (Reserved Lap Swimming) water temps range from 81-83 degrees. The pool is chlorinated.

Built in 1967, the pool features 6, 25-meter lanes for competitive swimming. It also supports a diving well sporting a low, springboard and a 3-meter springboard. The depth of the main pool ranges from 4-4.5 feet. There is no shallow end, zero-entry area or splash pad. We encourage most people to forgo the ladder option and enter the pool via cannonball.
