LAP SWIM AT THE ELKS
LAP SWIMMING AND POOL RUNNING
From mid-September through the end of May, the Boulder Elks Pool and Patio is a favorite spot for lap swimming and pool running in Boulder County. Our outdoor, heated pool (kept at a comfortable 82°) stays open through the fall and winter, giving you a refreshing way to stay active year-round.
The pool remains open in most weather, closing only when extreme cold or unexpected snow and ice make it unsafe. And when your swim is done, hot showers are waiting - nothing better after a good, healthy workout outdoors.
Please note that the Boulder Elks Pool is a Swim-At-Your-Own-Risk facility. There are no lifeguards on duty, and swimmers are responsible for their own safety and well-being while using the pool.
SCHEDULE
Lap swims and pool runs are available by reservation only and must be reserved and purchased through this website. We don’t offer drop-in swimming. Reservations can be made right up until the scheduled start time of a session, and you can reschedule or cancel online up to 30 minutes before the session begins.
Each reserved session is one hour long. For lap swimming, lanes are divided into A and B for reservation purposes only, with up to two swimmers per lane. If you’re sharing a lane, we ask that you and your lane mate work out what feels best—keep it low-key, casual, and friendly. Be an easy swimmer, please. Pool running takes place in the deep end and is limited to six runners at a time.
From September through May, reserved lap swimming will be available up to all days of the week. We are updating our schedule so check back often. Pool running is available all days.
COSTS
A single, one-hour lap swim or pool run is $12.50. You’ll either have a lane to yourself or share with just one other swimmer. For pool running, the diving well is limited to six people at a time.
If you’re looking to save a bit, you can purchase a Swim Pack for $130, which includes 12 swims to use over the next 12 months - a savings of nearly 15%.
Starting in January, we’ll also be offering an Unlimited Monthly Swim Pass for $99. At this time, we’re unable to offer additional discounts. Since the Elks Pool is a private facility, we don’t accept punch cards or passes from the City or County of Boulder.
All payments, reservations, and refunds are handled online through this website, making it easy to manage your swims anytime.
HOUSE RULES
Please wait to enter the water until your reserved time begins, unless your lane is already empty.
If no one is scheduled in your lane after your session, you’re welcome to enjoy up to 15 extra minutes. This bonus swim time is a courtesy and may change if it’s abused.
For safety reasons, please enter the pool from the EAST side only, unless a staff member directs you otherwise. The pool cover equipment makes WEST-side entry unsafe.
The Elks Pool is a Swim-At-Your-Own-Risk facility. There are no lifeguards on duty, and swimmers are responsible for their own safety while using the pool.
To keep the space safe and enjoyable for everyone:

No vaping, smoking, or alcohol within the pool grounds
Please treat staff and fellow swimmers with kindness and respect. Aggressive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the pool.
From time to time, swim lessons may take place during lap swimming. Instructors may request consideration for Lane 1. While swimmers with Lane 1 reservations are not required to switch lanes, your flexibility is appreciated when possible.
PACKAGES AND PAYMENT
The most current swim package available below is the Boulder Elks Pool Swim Pack 25–26, which includes 12 swims for $130. If you already have a Swim Pack 24–25, it’s still valid and can be used for both current and future reservations.
Beginning in January, we’ll also be offering an Unlimited Monthly Swim Pack 25–26 for $99 per month. Want to swim every day? Book a double, two-hour session every Wednesday? Training for a really long swim? If any of that sounds like you, the Unlimited Monthly Swim Pack is the way to go. A full schedule of available swim times is listed below.

HOW TO RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL A SWIM
Sometimes, you just can't fit that much needed swim into your schedule. And here at the Elks Pool, we try very hard
to accommodate that situation. Here's what you need to know when it just isn't gonna work out.
There is a 6-hr window for reservations to be cancelled or rescheduled prior to the time you have reserved.
If you cancel or reschedule inside of 6-hours, there is no refund.
To Reschedule or Cancel a swim, log onto the website at www.boulderelkspoolandpatio.com
In the header, select the LOG IN icon and follow instructions to LOG IN
After you have logged in, select MY BOOKINGS. All of your currently scheduled swims will be visible.
Select the swim you wish to reschedule or cancel and follow instructions.
Management DOES NOT reschedule swims for individual swimmers.
